i leave for the bay october 21

my flight gets in around 1pm. im staying at the piedmont, a hostel in berkeley, for three nights, then who knows?

i love traveling, and i love the bay. it is so beautiful and spectacular. i can't wait to be able to do some dharma work and see all my cali friens.

who wants to go to the massive attack/theivery corporation show at the greek theatre in berkeley? i know a good spot where we can go for free!

packing list

so, i've compliled a (rough) packing list for the journey.

the backpack (pictured above) is a GoLite Odyssey. It has 5490 cubic inches of space and has decent reviews. but this is just a starting point. i'm open to suggestions. : )


i'm divided about the tent. these look hella-nice, but also weigh about 40lbs : (

so this will (hopefully) evolve into a dynamic representation of my path through spacetime. my journey is about to commence, and i will be keeping a physical journal, which i will try to transcribe here whenever opportunity arises. i will also post links to music that i use for pre-meditation and meditation, art, and really anything i can relate to the buddhadharma, which is pretty much everything. if you enjoy my writing, please post a link on your facebook page or something similar so that (again, hopefully) some speck of wisdom may accidentaly flow from my fingertips and reach another human being.
